Introduction:
ANTIOXIDANT 1135 is a liquid hindered phenolic antioxidant especially suitable for liquid materials, such as polyether polyols and oil.
ANTIOXIDANT 1135 offers excellent antioxidant performance with the convenience of a pumpable liquid. Because of its low volatility and excellent compatibility, it is particularly well suited to use in forced air cooling processes for PU, also helps to prevent fogging in automotive applications and low volatility of ANTIOXIDANT 1135 make it a perfect fit where meat liquids, emulsions, suspensions, solutions or melts are on integral part of polymer manufacturing and processing. ANTIOXIDANT 1135 can be added before, during or after polymerization.
Characterization:
Irganox 1135 is a 100 % active, liquid sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant for polyols, polyurethanes, and other polymers.
Application:
Irganox 1135 is an excellent antioxidant, which may be used in a variety of polymers. For the stabilization of polyurethane flexible slabstock foams, Irganox 1135 prevents the formation of peroxides in the polyol during storage, transport, and further protects against scorching during foaming.
